NumberWorks opened its doors here in the Philippines in 1997 at the Alabang Town Center.  Since then, we have responded to the needs of students, their parents and schools with consistent success built on the fun of learning.  

What we consistently hear from parents is "why did it take us so long to find you?"  So, since 2009 we have committed to expanding our reach across Manila with a growing number of Tutorial Centers and a marketing campaign which reflects the fun and excitement that we want to share.

Our specialist tutors prove to parents and teachers every day that any student can gain confidence, improve in their math skills and learn to love learning.  They have fun while learning and learn to love math!  Really, it's true!

The NumberWorks system is so cool and fun for any age, keeping motivation high and confidence soaring.   We use richly developed learning modules and games that reinforce and motivate the reaching of goals.  Every day in our tutorial centers, we prove that any student can leap forward both within and beyond what they are doing in school.  Besides being proud of their personal achievements, students can have life-changing experiences by learning math and applying it. 

We can accommodate any math level, pre-school to high school.  Many stay with us throughout their schooling.  Many stay in order to succeed in mathematics competitions.  Most of all, our students learn to love learning.

Our tutors are trained in the specialized usage of the NumberWorks system.  We work diagnostically with students to achieve reachable goals.

What does that mean?  For example, we are often asked about homework: how much? what type?  Well.  We always give homework, with a minimum of one page that allows for creativity along with serious study.  The simple purpose is to reinforce and prepare the student between lessons.  The objective is not to give "busy work" but rather to keep motivation and memory as peaked as possible.  Students are never bored at Numberworks!  Our homework is not boring, either!

We are also asked more generally about how Numberworks "works."  To begin with, our evaluation process enables students to get started right away in a tutorial setting with goals designed for her or him.  Why wait when learning is so much fun?  Likewise, every lesson keeps to a managed structure of learning modules and time routine which enable a predictable, safe environment for any student to keep their motivation high.  At the same time, there is a testing and rewards system for students to advance their level.   Besides being acknowledged at every achievement in their learning with certificates and higher test scores, the system grows with the student in the form of increasingly challenging learning games.  Our games allow all sorts of competitions for high scores, whether to make a personal best or to encourage competition between students.  The system, overall, reinforces learning skills and strategies.  Most of all, we see the proof that it "works" in the smiles on the faces of students and parents and teachers. 

We know what works.  We know that learning is fun.  We know that great teaching is cool.
