The NumberWorks'nWords English curriculum covers the full spectrum of written language development. Our extensive library of purpose written books provide children with stories that appeal to their imagination and engage them while they are learning.

The NumberWorks’nWords English system covers a range of subjects including: Listening and Auditory Discrimination, Phonological Awareness exercises (blending and segmenting), Letter-Sound-Correspondences, Reading Acquisition, Syntax Awareness, Reading out Loud, Spelling and Dictation, Fluency and Reading with Expression, Comprehension and aspects of Grammar.

Subjects are taught using a variety of exercises that have an emphasis on fun and engaging content. Regular Reading Buddy sessions ensure that student’s progress towards their goals is monitored and guided.

Creative Writing Competition

NumberWorks’nWords held an annual international writing competition in 2009. The competition generated so much excitement amongst our students and managers that we are holding the competition again this year.
